Hello!

Recently I've hit a problem in Inkscape that I do not recall having before. Namely, when using the path tools (union, difference, etc.), Inkscape changes the shape and the position of the paths that should not be affected. It's not a big change but it's enough to be visible when trying to be precise. I do a lot of font design where precision is very important (I need the letters to look uniform and have the same thickness and such, for example), and this problem now changes the shape and the position of the letters.

I don't know why this problem is occurring now and I've no idea how to fix it. Might it be a setting somewhere in the preferences? Does it help if you change the precision in you preferences? You seem to have zoomed in very far, so it might make a relevant difference to you.

Also the behave got much better from 0.48 to 0.91.
Upgrade if you haven't already.

@Moini The numbers there are the same in my Inkscape as well. I could try changing them and see if that improves anything. But I don't know why it would suddenly become an issue.

@Lazur Yeah, I've had this version for a long time and never had any problems with it. I'll try reinstalling Inkscape. Maybe that'll fix it.

The problem cannot be eliminated to its fullness by the nature of the Bézier paths but never version is "more precise" on booleans.
