Design Notes
I've searched around and can't find if there's a spot to make design notes. I typically design for cutting files and am constantly going back and forth with various fonts. Once I prepare my design to cut, I lose the ability to see what font I used. Is there anywhere I can go within the file and create notes I'll want to refer back to later? I would love to see a dialog box that I could dock with my other ones.

I put a generous amount of text into the Description field of the metadata tab (in Document properties).
It might not be totally kosher from a standard SVG standpoint, but it is easy enough to see it all in the XML editor when you open the file in Inkscape.
