[solved] yet another Q re snapping :p

Postby brynn » Thu Oct 02, 2008 7:39 am

Yep, it's me again, about snapping again :o

Is snapping not supposed to happen when more than one node is selected? I could understand if it's because Inkscape wouldn't know which node to snap, of all those selected. But I wonder if it could be set up so that the node used for dragging them could be snapped?

Or is it using the Alt key that's disabling the snapping?

I have an object with 4 nodes, and I'm selecting them all and using the Alt key for node sculpting. But I can't get the node I'm dragging with, to snap to a guide.

Does anyone know why this might be happening?
Thanks for your help :D

I think the expected behaviour is for snapping to work even when node-sculpting. I would log a bug or feature request for this (if it hasn't already).
