How to achieve this effect?

Postby trotsepapa » Sat Nov 19, 2011 5:14 am

A couple of months ago I used some filters on a text (the word nature). Now I need to make a new vector design in which I need to reproduce this with other text. Problem is that I've forgotten which filter(s) I did use on this..

Does anyone have a clue?

This is my design:

Did the filter create the kind of wavy appearance of the outer path? Because otherwise it doesn't look like a filter was used. I don't think I've seen an Inkscape filter that does that -- which doesn't mean it doesn't exist. But I wonder if you might have used GIMP, because that does look like something GIMP can do?

But I'll experiment with some filters a little later. If I happen to find the right one, I"ll let you know :D
