How to Cite InkScape in paper?

Postby TSFAN » Fri Sep 16, 2011 11:46 am

Hello :

I want to submit my paper recently,

and I want to cite InkScape in this paper.

But I search InkScape's official website,

there is no correct format I can find.

Does anyone know how to cite InkScape???

Thanks a lot

Welcome to InkscapeForum!

Omgoodness, college was SO long ago! But I think you would cite it in the same way you would cite any computer program. If you're writing such a paper in which the format is so important, I'm thinking perhaps you have (or should have) some sort of textbook or writers' guide about how to format references. I was about to say that I don't remember, but computer programs didn't exist when I was in college, lol! So technically I never knew Image But if I were to guess, it's probably very similar to the way you would cite a book.

Maybe someone here will know the answer? But (I'm sorry to say that) I think you should consult a writers' forum, your teacher/professor, a textbook, or some sort of writing guide. You can probably even use your friend Google!
