Hi all,
I am facing an issue while trying to drag an element to move an object
or
change an object dimensions. The cursor jumps to a random position after
dragging a couple of seconds. This makes the objet to suddenly change
its
dimensions or its position, preventing me from making my drawing.
I am using Arch Linux + XFCE. I have searched on the bug database but
could
not find anything referring to this behavior. Does anyone facing the
same
(or a similar) issue that knows a workaround to solve it?
Thanks a lot
Bad cursor movement while dragging
Re: Bad cursor movement while dragging
Welcome to InkscapeForum!
Hhm...usually when I hear about something jumping, it makes me think of snapping. Is the cursor jumping to a blank area of the canvas, or does it jump to some other element (path, node, bounding box, guide, page border, etc.)? If that's the problem, you would just need to locate the Snap control bar, and disable snapping (or change to more appropriate settings). http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL ... pping.html
Hhmm....but something tells me this might not be a typical snapping issue.
