about uninstalling 0.46

Postby brynn » Sat Nov 28, 2009 8:30 am

Hi Friends,
I was just about to install the fabulous new version 0.47, and automatically went to Add/Remove Progams (on Windows XP) to uninstall 0.46. But I was stunned not to find it listed. So then I went to my program files, thinking perhaps I had already uninstalled it, and spaced out  . But there it is

So I'm not sure how to uninstall without usng Add/Remove Programs. In the Program Files folder, there's a file called Uninstall.exe, and I'm guessing I should double-click on it. But I just want to be sure before I do, since I've never uninstalled anything this way.

Is there anything else I need to know about this method of uninstalling? Is it just the same as using Add/Remove Programs? Or is there something I should do to put in Add/Remove, and uninstall it the usual way?

Thanks for your help :D

The thing in Add/Remove Programs is just a link to the uninstall file, so it's effectively the same.
