Hi,
I can't figure out how to do it. I can do normal radial gradient in strokes, and both straight and reverse in fills, but I have no idea how to do this for strokes. I also don't know how to edit the stops, etc. I don't quite understand the workflow...
Thanks
[solved] Reversed radial gradient in strokes
Re: Reversed radial gradient in strokes
It works the same way in strokes as it does in fills. Can you tell us specifically which buttons or key shortcuts you're using, in steap (1, 2, 3, etc.)
I won't refer you to the manual, because it hasn't been updated to the new Gradient tool control bar yet.
Anyone making video tutorials, this community desperately needs one to show how to edit gradients on canvas, using the new control bar! Or if there is one somewhere already, someone please post a link, so I can save it. I would make a text tutorial, but this is one case where I think video would be much more effective.

Re: Reversed radial gradient in strokes
My guess is you "reversed" the linear gradient by moving around the start and end handles while
in the gradient tool's settings since 0.91 there is an option to reverse the gradient definition.
Either use the icon of the gradient tool's setting or press Shift+R when the gradient is selected.

Re: Reversed radial gradient in strokes
Thank you both.
Yes, I was using the shortcut but it either didn't do nothing or it was making it solid black. I'm using Inkscape 0.91 r13725 for Windows. Are you sure this isn't a bug? I'll record a short video to show you the behavior, perhaps then you can help me further.
Thanks.

Re: Reversed radial gradient in strokes
Apologies. This was me being thoroughly stupid After mirroring the radial gradient on stroke it looked solid black... until I moved the sliders
Thank you for your time.
Thank you for your time.
