Problem with path continuity

Postby rcmaniak » Wed May 11, 2016 8:52 am

Hi, i have a problem with creating path form my laser engraving machine. First i create an object i autocad then i export it to pdf and import that pdf to inkscape. And when i create a path it does not create single path fpr this object, it creates separate paths for every single curve and line so cutting is extremly inefficient, because it cuts those paths in random order not in one hit. What can i do to make it single path, i've tried ctrl++(sum) but it doesn't make any difference.

Hi.

I belive that problem was discussed somewhere here recently but couldn't find it.
Probably it was at the irc #inkscape yesterday.
Instead came across this solution.

There goes Lazur mine-reading again! I don't even understand the question :D

Actually, for my best guess, there's an extension for that. http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php ... ose_Curves
