Lines between letters

Lines between letters

Hi All
Im a new user but having fun working things out.

My problem is the lines between the letters on my laser. How do I get rid of them?

It looks like your engraver did not lift up between paths. Doesn't it have some setting to prevent that?

I guess possibly there might be a way to create the paths in Inkscape to prevent that, but it's hard to say by looking at a photo. If you can't find any setting on the engraving machine, so that it doesn't engrave between paths, then please share your SVG file with us.
