I import a photo and change the size of the page so that the photo fits on the page. I draw with the pencil on top of the image and delete the image. I then print .I cannot get the printer to print but a 6th of the image . I want it to print to fit page. How? My HP printer will print all of the photo.
I would also like to print my drawings a piece at a time and assemble them. Does this require certain software?
[solved] all of drawing not printing
Re: all of drawing not printing
Is only 1/6 of the image printing (i.e the image is divided up into 6 parts and only one part is printed) or is printing a t 1/6 of the size (i.e. it's 6 times smaller than it should be)?
You more than likely need to change your document size because it's too big or too small.

What you should do is change the size of the photo object, not the page. In the document properties, set the page size to be the same as a regular sheet of paper. Then when you import the photo, change the size of the photo to fit the page. If you change the page size, it won't fit on a regular sheet of printer paper, so you'll only get a portion of it when you print, like you've seen.
Re: all of drawing not printing
Thanks for the help. I set the page size to regular sheet of paper and changed my import to fit the page. It printed the whole drawing. Great! However, I tried switching to landscape format and it still printed as in the last portrait format. It would print what I wanted if I only switched it to regular paper size and turned the drawing on its side.
