My regular computer is out of commission this week, and so I downloaded and installed the latest version of Inkscape (onto my laptop,) which apparently is 0.91. I have no idea what version I am used to using, but it couldn't be more than two years old.
Right away I notice that the program actually remembers what windows and boxes I like open, and it keeps them open whenever I open a new file. Very nice!
But I am having some real difficulty with the the snapping. I have a grid created for my image, but I can't seem to move path nodes and have them snap to it.
I can see in the sidebar that snapping is enabled, "snap nodes, paths, and handles" is enabled, and "snap to grid" is enabled. And the handles on my nodes will snap to the grid, and I can snap to the grid when creating new objects, but when I go to edit a path I cannot get the nodes to snap to the grid.
I have no idea why. I didn't change any settings related to this. It didn't work like this in my other version. So I'm kinda stuck here.
Thoughts?

Re: Grid snapping
and/or smooth nodes
Yes, this is a change in behavior from previous versions. I'm not sure why it was changed.

Re: Grid snapping
Okay, that did it. Thank you!
