Hello everyone,
I'm having an issue over and over again with the outline in inkscape files and so far I did not find any forum that discusses the topic.
The problem arises when I want to save a drawing to eps. The page border (document properties) entirely covers my drawing, but when I save to eps and open the eps file, most of the objects just disappeared. When I change the view to outline mode (2x ctrl+5), I indeed see that the outline only covers a part of the drawing (green rectangle). Is there any way to reset this outline to the entire drawing?
Thank you in advance,
Best regards,
Frederik

Okay, for people who might encounter the same problem:
Upgrading to 0.91 was the solution for me (I used to have 0.48).

Coincidentally, the problem might have been fixed by installing current version. But just so you know, here's how to solve that problem.
Document Properties > Page tab > Page Size > Custom Size > Resize Page to Content will make your page size perfectly fit your drawing.
However, if you must have some specific page size, that won't work, because it will change your page size. If your page must be some certain size, then do Ctrl + a (select all). Then Object menu > Align and Distribute, and click these 2 buttons in that dialog:
Center on Vertical Axis
Center on Horizontal Axis
As long as your drawing is smaller than the page, that will put everything perfectly centered in the page border.
