Hi!
I'm a casual Linux user and I'm looking for some assistance with the following scenario:
I don't own a laptop.
I'm frequently around DIFFERENT PCs.
I'd like to take my projects with me so I can work whenever I'm around a PC.
So...
I'd like to get a jumpdrive that I can store a Linux distro on, along with GIMP, Inkscape and some other development tools. In the past, I've used Debian and I'm familiar with AppGet, but I'm not so familiar with other ways of installing Linux packages.
So...
What would be a good distro for this?
What would be a good jumpdrive for this?
Is this a good plan at all?
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Inkscape and Linux
Re: Inkscape and Linux
Do a google search on Portable Ubuntu, or Portable Linux and you should find plenty of resources.

I did that... I was quite amazed at the number of distros.
Is there a place I can search linux distros that allows me to pick what I want?
Ie.
Debian Based
Gnome NOT KDE
etc...
Thanks for the help!
