[solved] Open a closed shape impossible?

Hi,
I want to remove a segment from a closed shape but I want the shape to remain open (avoid auto-closing) so I can extend the shape.
Is this possible and how?

Nevermind, I found it: "Delete segment between two non-end nodes" button.
