This is an unofficial Inkscape forum provided primarily for Inkscape users. Whilst some developers are members of this site, if you would like to communicate with them the best and prefer method is to do so on the developers mailing list or Jabber, rather than on this forum.

It's not that we don't want development discussions on this forum, it's simply that you may not get any response.

using Inkscape mailing list is completelly useless - mailing list moderators uses to rejects all posts, specially if they are very important for the Inkscape development - could be this a bug? i get unsubscribed since i got deeply offended of this mailing list behaviour - it's sad things like this happens in the open-source world, specially on a so great application project Inkscape is...

How do you know your e-mails were rejected?

I use nabble.com as a interface to the mailing list and have never had a problem with exception of a couple of times when I think there was a problem with Nabble.

oops, i were subscribed the wrong mailing list - i subscribed only inkscape-tracker, and there at http://www.inkscape.org/mailing_lists.php?lang=en is no mention it were a read-only mailing list...

as answer, Bryce Harrington told me to use inkscape-devel or inkscape-user instead

I would rather have my question posted on your forum but I have not seen my two posts show up anywhere.Should I give up and contact the developers or is there a long waiting time for my questions to appear ?

PS i just joined up I am having a problem opening up the application.See help with using Inkscape.....maybe you can track them down but a search for my questions produces nothing.
