Inkscape stopped showing X/Y width/height/pixel

Version 0.48.4r9939
Windows Vista Home Premium

Recently I noticed Inkscape is not showing X/Y width/height/pixel of an object. I have just re-installed the Inkscape it showed once the width/height/pixel but again not showing. I can once again install Inkscape but that is not the solution.

What could be the cause?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you.

PS* windows is update and even all other drivers/java/flash etc.

Oh, someone else reported something like that..... Ok I remember -- it was a bug when using Inkscape with Japanese language. Do you have Inkscape set to display in Japanese?
