I don't understand your question. Could you give an example of what you're asking?
Are you asking how to put a frame or text box (text flowed into frame or text box) in the middle of a bunch of unflowed text?

As described in the FAQ you can convert flowed text into regular text with the menu command 'Text > Convert to Text'.
