I created this over a year ago just for fun. And to see what I could do while trying out tools and learning Inkscape.

Oh nice, I like that!
It's interesting how the tubes aren't flat on the surface (on which they lie), but somehow are slightly bowed up in places. I also like how you have a small strip of highlight, even on the shade-side. It really reinforces the depth. I can't wait to try that trick on my own work! OH hey, it would be fun to make what I've seen called "silly straws". (They're mostly a children's thing, but a drinking straw that's all twisted and looped around, and at least semi-transparent, so as to watch the liquid swirl through the loops and twists.) Maybe I'll try
