Hi !
I want to know what does this mean:
" We have decided to use 4 spaces as a tab for the project.
Files should include a modeline specifying the tab stops and indentation character specified by the standard. "
Sorry, if this is stupid, but I really couldn't find anything on the net regarding 'modeline' except for something pointing to x.org.
Also, what I gather is that if I need to specify the standard at the end of the file as a convention. Don't know if its true or not ! Please help.
DemiCoder.

You'll have to tell us where that quote comes from. Otherwise, taken out of it's context, as it is, the quote means very little. Also, this is a users' forum. While we do have a few developers who participate, you'll have better luck contacting the developers' mailing list (as I have already advised you once before). http://inkscape.org/mailing_lists.php?lang=en
