clip of an image is not clipped when exported to .png

Postby piscvau » Sun Nov 11, 2018 7:41 am

Hello
I have a path that I use to clip an image. The clipped immage appears on a blue background color.
The clip works fine in Inkscape, but as soon as I export the clip in a .png file the image is not clipped any longer. This happens does not happen if the background is white.
But I do need a non white background. What sjould I do?
Thnaks for your help.

Hi - can you share the file, or at least a file that contains the problematic part? Please also:
- tell us your Inkscape version
- your operating system and its version
- share a screenshot of the png export dialog
Something doesn't work? - Keeping an eye on the status bar can save you a lot of time!

Are you setting the background color in document properties? instead, make an opaque rectangle of the color and size you want and put it behind everything.
Your mind is what you think it is.
