Hello guys,
I recently bought a mac and trying to get inkscape on it.

my steps:
I download
it opens i drag the inkscape icon into the applications folder.
i open inkscape:

Inkscape on Mac OS X

While inkscape is open, its windows can be displayed or hidden by displaying or hiding the X11 application.

The first time this version of inkscape is run it may take several minutes before the main window is displayed while the font caches are built.

For the first sentance: i did exactly what it said i opened X11 and its application. Nothing happened...

for the second sentance: i waited 45min..... waiting for it to build.. nothing happened...

((((when i close the window that said those 2 sentances inkscape also closes))))

I waited 30min with the window. and 45min without it with X11. Nothing is happening..


anyone have a solution?
