Help exporting for Product Packaging

Postby Avidanpell » Sun May 08, 2016 2:05 am

Hi,

I'm new to Inkscape and I really need some help. I am designing a packaging for my product with Inkscape. The requirements for the colors are CMYK. I don't know how to export in .eps with this

In addition, I would like to have a bleed margin outside of the border but also to see the border. How can I export so the page size (3"x2.5") is present on the document?

Thanks

You can't export to CMYK eps with Inkscape, as far as I know. You would have to use an additional software like Scribus to convert to CMYK. For a possible CMYK workflow, please see http://libregraphicsworld.org/blog/entr ... to-scribus .

For the bleed, you can only use guide lines in Inkscape at the moment. So set the page to the full size including the bleed, and add guides where the cut lines would be.
