I'm new to this forum, so I'll hope this is the appropriate topic area for my question ...
We're using programs other than Inkscape to generate SVGs, but often our users will decide they want to 'touch up' those generated SVGs by opening them with Inkscape. If they do that, once they save the file and load it into our content management system, they've now created on 'out of sync' problem because the original (non-SVG) source does not match the SVG.
Here's the question: does anyone have an idea for metadata (or perhaps an SVG extension) that could be embedded in the SVG by that other program such that upon opening that SVG with Inkscape a warning dialog could be popped up to tell the user they're about to cause problems?
TIA,
Bob
