Does anyone knows when Inkscape 0.46 will be released. ?

fairly soon now I hope. We're past the general bug fixing stage, into what we refer to as hard freeze, which is when we focus on any showstopper bugs that are remaining.
Once their squished we should be good to go.

Re: inkscape 0.46 pre-releases not available in PPA repos
I have been trying to follow the Inkscape 0.46 pre-releases on Ubuntu Gutsy. The release announcements on the Inkscape home page clearly state that Ubuntu users need only enter the given repos etc to be able to install the latest builds, and normal system updates should install the latest automatically. However, this is not working. I've triple checked my repo settings. Right now (Feb 24 2008) I can install only pre1, while pre2 and apparently the hard freeze release branch have been committed. I would like to test for bugs but can't. Anyone know what gives?
