Outline ovelapping

Postby szkot » Sat Jun 13, 2015 9:24 pm

Hello,

If I create for example a circle, next I duplicate this circle with CTRL+D I get two overlapping objects. If I next change the color of the top circle I see 1 pixel outline.

Circles have no outline set.

Why does it happen? What theory is related to this behavior?

Thanks

Hi.

Anti-aliasing.

At each pixels near the edge you have a fraction of the background and the objects over it.
Anti-aliasing tries to calculate an average that would fit.

It is not really an 1 pixel outline you see, but an 1 pixel issue at any zoom level.
