I'm the editor of a free digital magazine, named Plastik Models. Its all about scale models, my hobby

I've been using Corel Draw X3 since the magazine's 2nd edition, but I'm tired of M$ and all things behind it...
After a few Google searches, I found Inkscape, Scibus and Ubuntu 7.10, and I decided do give them a go. For now I'll keep XP and X3 for a backup, but I'll try to publish the Fourth edition (and beyond) only with Open Source, using all of the above.
For now, I have to say Inkscape is a nice surprise, not a Corel Draw X3, but a really powerful title... I just need to get the work philosophy right, and I'll be on my way.
Current editions (using only Corel Draw 12 and X3):

When I have it, I'll post the WIP...

Carlos Jorge
