Hi All,

I'd like to reduce the scale of the node handles when nodes are converted to smooth. Is there a value that can be changed in the preferences somewhere? I think the current value is about a third of the associated line segment, I'd like much less, like 5%.

I tried searching the preferences xml but couldn't find any clues.

I know I can use the straighten segments tool, but that adds another operation.

Tips? Tricks?

So you want something similar to the straighten segments extension lively adjustable with node smoothing?
My guess that would be a call for a new lpe from Jabiertxof.

I did find an extension called "Polysmooth" that is quite close... It would be nice to have more range of control. That said, it is much faster* to use than the conversion to smooth nodes followed by a straighten-segments extension.

*I'm working with paths that have many nodes, so speed is desirable.
