Object resized when adjusting line width. How do I prevent this?

Postby steevl » Fri Oct 16, 2015 6:07 pm

This is my problem: I need objects to have specified dimensions, with a linewidth of just 0.01 mm.
I prefer creating these objects with a thicker linewidth for visibility, and change the linewidth when those objects are finished.
The problem is that when I adjust the linewidth it also scales the dimensions of the object. Is there any way to prevent this unwanted behaviour?
( I already deselected the options on the top row including: adjust linewidth when scaling objects ; apparently this does not work the other way around)

You can change to geometric bounding box in the preferences at tool settings from visual one (Shift+Ctrl+P).
