Title sort of says it all. I use Inkscape all the time, but on a smaller screen the menus are just too damn big and many features are literally out of reach, having fallen below my 800 x 480 screen size.

With Netbooks becoming so commonplace, and many of them running some flavor of Linux, it would be great if the FOSS answer to Illustrator could do something even the real Illustrator can't and simply fit the smaller screen.

The version in development works better on smaller screens, if you wanted to try it.
