How to typ special character for the degree Celsius

Postby nihon94 » Tue Nov 13, 2012 3:25 pm

I have been trying to type Centigrade such as ℃ using Ctrl + U hexadecimal code and Enter to get ℃ but I think I am making mistake.
Is there method to get this done?

Your help will be appreciated.

PS* I have also tried to use Windows character code(Unicode) °and C but their gap is too much.

Thank you

You can close the 'gap' by selecting the character you want to move and using the alt+keypad arrow right or left combinations. (FYI, this is called manual kerning...) Alt + < and alt + > will change all the letter spacing after the cursor, if that's what you want ...
Hope this works for you, it's what I would do.
Your mind is what you think it is.

Your laptop keyboard should still have 4 arrow keys in the bottom right, you can use those.
