[solved] Problem with the "angle" (Calligraphic Lines)

Postby Dexter Douglas » Thu Feb 21, 2008 10:29 am

Hi everyone,

I'm posting today because I would like to disable the "angle" thing when using the Calligraphic Lines tool. I don't know how to do that, but I really need to draw without having problem with this "angle stuff".

If anybody could explain me how to do take care of that, it would be cool.

Thanks in advance ! :D

Set the fixation to 0.0. This will make angle change with the direction of the pen. I'm not sure, but you might also need to change angle to 0 to set it's initial orientation.

If you don't want a flat cap to your lines then change the cap value to 1.0 to create a semi-circle shaped cap. This will also have effect of making the fixation and angle redundant since a circle cap will look the same at any angle.

You can read more about this tool and its settings here - http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL ... alligraphy
