I've been using Inkscape for about 2 years now no problem, but this morning I got a new hiccup without changing anything in my workflow. I created a simple drawing in Inkscape with 3 layers, some text and shapes, for laser cutting. One new tool I used was the tiled clones tool to make the array of circles. I saved the .svg as usual, put it on a flashdrive, and brought it to my laser-cutting computer (they aren't on the same network so I need to do this). This has never been an issue before, but when I opened up the image in Inkscape on computer #2, I was missing all my text, all of the shapes were misaligned and moved, and the whole image was cropped by a square bounding box (As if my drawing area was too small). The circles are all weirdly grouped too as portions of each other cut off at odd places.
I figured it was an issue going between computers, so I went back to my original computer to check there. Sure enough, as soon as I reopened the SVG (in a separate window), it loaded up with the same issues. Now I'm held hostage by the original version I drew correctly since once I close and re-open, I will get the messed up version presumably.
Saving as PDF works as expected, so I'm going to use that for now.
Attached is the file. All work was done in Inkscape on Mac. Thanks! Screenshots below

Seems your laser cutter cannot deal with transforms on objects.
Unlink all clones, and convert all texts to path.
