I have recently downloaded the newest version of Inkscape and when going to use the Text tool, I noticed there is a long list of fonts most of which are not installed on my own computer, how can I delete the ones which are not installed on my computer?

Is this in a new file, or a previously created file?

I noticed several new fonts myself, so I'll be interested to know about this too! All those I've noticed so far are in traditional Asian languages (6 to 8 of them). (I'm on Win7, 64-bit and Inkscape 0.91, 32-bit)

This is before I even started a project. So far I have made a note of 36 fonts which are not installed on my computer, these all appeared after doing the latest install. None of them were on 0.48 version.

That's funny on two counts:
Usually people complain about fonts missing, not appearing.
I was not aware of Inkscape installing any fonts (but I have a lot, so I might not have noticed).

Did you install using the .msi, or .exe?

I installed EXE.

I didn't occur to me to look in my Windows fonts folder, to see if these new Inkscape fonts are installed. None of these new fonts actually work, for me. They all default to English letters, even though they appear to be traditional Asian text. Let's see....I can't really tell if these are installed. There are some Asian fonts in my Windows folder, but I can't tell if they are the same as what I see in Inkscape. The names don't appear to be the same character, but I don't know anything about Asian languages.

install exe files of fonts there. it would be installed i have installed.
