When trying to import any .ai file, I get the error message "Failed to load the requested file *path/xxx.ai*". Does anyone else have this issue, or does anyone know how to fix it? I'm running the newest Inkscape version 0.46 on Mac OS X Leopard.

try lastest version as it seems to have more file options
