Just wanted to say hello and ask a question please.

ive been using inkscape now for over 2yrs and love it mostly for work with a craft robo.

however i am trying to type some text and put it on a spiral using text on path

now i draw my spiral, type my text without carriage returns drag it over the spiral and do text>put on path

and it works, but the text starts in the centre of the spiral working out.

is it possible to start it on the outside and work in? please

Before you put the text on the path, select the spiral, convert it to a path (Path -> Object to Path) and then reverse it (Path -> Reverse). This changes which end is considered the start of the spiral.
