Saving .plt file issues

Postby Yepi » Wed Jun 15, 2011 5:57 am

Hi, I am a moderate Inkscape user and use it were I would normally have used Coraldraw and I am trying to plot a basic plan of a house.

When I save the file as .plt file it saves fine and all the code is there BUT the hpgl is PU for the entire code except for the edges of the plan
so the pen moves in all the right places and traces all the paths but the pen wont go down anywhere but the perimeter and as a result only
the perimeter gets plotted. The file was made with svg exporter from sketchup.

The paths are all ungrouped and I have tried the object to path with no success. I cant save as .hpgl because I get an error (Uniconverter or
python related) and the issue is the same with Inkscape in Ubuntu and Win7 so it looks like a file related problem or inkscape problem.

I have also tried pasting the paths to fresh inkscape window and saving with no luck.

Any help would be appreciated.
