With this latest version (.46) I am experiencing problems I was not having in the older one:

I simply cannot change fonts. The only font I am able to use is a font called "Sans". I tried to switch it to another one (pressing F8, clicking on the text and selecting another one in the font list on the upper left) , but it just won't go. Is there something I am doing wrong here? Is this a bug?

I have the same experience on WinXP with Inkscape v0.46. Seems to be bug 218502.

Thanks for the support here.. It is really a bug, unfortunatelly!!

But I found out that you're able to switch fonts pressing Ctrl+Shift+t. It is a little awkward and not as easy, but it works!!!
