I imported a .bmp traced it to make a vector copy. Dicarded the .bmp. I drew three other solid color objects to go with the first and I can't get them to scale together. I wanted them to be all one image but I am not having any luck. I can only node edit the original, or the new ones but I can't edit them all at the same time.

If this isn't enough description I can add a screen capture this evening. Please let me know if you can help.

Again, I'm trying to join, bond, glue, merge...etc. new objects to one I imported.

select objects > path > combine or union depending on which you're going for (hard to tell from your description). Alternatively you could select objects and group then scale proportionately using ctrl-left click on handles or the dimensions in the toolbar.
