I've been searching the forum for posts regarding my problem, but couldn't find any. So I was wondering whether this wasn't a common problem: I'm unable to export an Inkscape drawing to a bitmap on Windows Vista. After clicking the menu item simply nothing happens, the dialog doesn't show up. This applies to version 0.46 and the latest nightly. Running the program with administrator privileges does not make any difference. I have not problems with the export on XP or Linux. Unfortunately, my main pc for design is currently running vista and moving files from one computer to the other for exporting is rather annoying. Any ideas?

Try deleting your Inkscape preferences file: http://www.inkscapeforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2037, point 2
