What probably happened is an unfortunate consequence of our spam prevention efforts. To help prevent spam, the first 2 messages posted by new users are moderated, before they appear in the forum. I'm not clear if it was your original message that you didn't see after you posted it? Or it might have already been approved, appeared on the forum, but then you edited it? Because also after either of the first 2 messages are edited, they must also be approved before they appear. (This is a common spamming practice -- post an acceptable message, then edit the spam in later.)

So a moderator did not delete it. I've just (either approved, or) reapproved it. I haven't actually read it in detail yet, but I will shortly, and attempt to answer it, if I can
