I find other work than mine pretty even if ryanlerch and The_JinJ have make it in 5 min.

That's right. I thought a comp every two would be better than every week since it gives everyone more time to work and might encourage more entries. I'll setup a poll for voting when the comp closes

Feel free to throw out suggestions for a new theme for the next comp.

I won't withdraw from the contest like I had thought after seeing pipo's submission... but WOW What a great entry!!! Maybe these competitions should have a beginners level, and intermediate level, and a masters level??? There is no way my little noobie Icons stand a chance in there.

and i don't think you belong to another level than grandmaster ! your icons are realy smart.

Certainly Pipo's entry is technically impressive, but everyones entries are so different it's difficult to compare them. They are all really fun, high quality images.

Since there are no prizes the competition is only a little bit of fun anyway. I don't think we have enough submissions to break it up into different levels

I would have to say that all the submissions are very impressive. I thinks everyone's work is just merely a reflection of what the capabilities of inkscape given a certain knowledge of the program.

Well, whatever theme you choose, make sure it's something in which n00bs can participate too

Please report these issues in the Registration issues and website problems forum so they can properly be tracked. My Host has suggested creating a new database which will put it on a different server on their cluster, but I'm not sure when I'm going to get a chance to do this.
