Ok noob post so be gentle.
Would Inkscape work on a arm based distro or is it x86 only?
Cheers
Arm based distro
Re: Arm based distro
Just checked the Debian package archive: http://packages.debian.org/sid/inkscape and it has builds for x86 and Arm, and more... So yes.
Re: Arm based distro
Cool, what are the minimum memory requirements to run inkscape?
Re: Arm based distro
I haven't been able to find any place where minimum requirements are listed. In my experience, you can run Inkscape on 2 gb RAM or less, but it's pretty slow-going. I would suggest 3 or 4 gb.
Inkscape is due to have a new and apparently much faster rendered, sometime next year. I don't know if that faster renderer will cause Inkscape to perform better on systems with 2 or lower gb RAM? I would guess that it will. But on the other hand, 2 gb is kind of low these days anyway.
