Found when using cloned tiles it is better to put each clone tile on different layers as it is easier to keep track of the obects Z direction and to select for editing.

Very clever use of clones. I love looking at these pictures and trying to figure out how it's done--it had me scratching my head for a moment. It's especially clever how you created the rainbow of colour using clones, since SVG doesn't support conical gradients.
