Hello guys,
Please help me with the following problem:
I've created an flyer(poster) with multiple layers and pictures in inkscape in a A3 landscape page format.
Now this A3(landscape) flyer have to be printed as 2 separate A4 pages(portrait) in a brochure. So I have to split the A3 format exactly in half without moving or losing anything.
Your answers will be highly appreciated !
Spliting a A3 flayer page into 2 A4 pages
Re: Spliting a A3 flayer page into 2 A4 pages
Hi Bogdan,
what I do in these cases (if I want to export pixel data), is that I just change the page size to half, group all contents, then align first one side with the page area, export image (export area: page), and then the other, then export again. This would also work for export to pdf, but will generate larger files.
What also works (for export to png) would be to make a rectangle, or two, of size A4, and align them with the drawing. Then export selection for each (rectangle can be invisible, selection via dragging a box around, xml editor or outline view mode).
