How to Adjust Inner Shadow Filter Color /Opacity

Postby kara515 » Fri Jun 10, 2011 6:51 am

I applied an inner shadow (Filters/Shadows and Glows/Inner Shadow) to text and want to change the shadow's color/opacity. I opened the filter editor, but I don't see how to change the shadow color. Can someone please advise? Thank you.

Welcome kara515!

I think this is it, but let me know if it's not what you want :D

Open the Filter Editor (again). In the list of Effects and Connections (not the place where you choose new Effects to add), click Flood, to highlight it. Then look below at the Effect Parameters tab. Click on the long black bar, and a dialog will come up where you can change the color.

Here is a new Inner shadow which is only a setting of the next Drop shadow filter (which stays already in the experimental filters in dev versions but without this "inner" option).

It solves the transparency bug of the old one.

Only play with the Flood color or transparency in Filters Editor and you will obtain what you want.

Have fun !
