[solved] Perspective text

Postby miggols » Fri Mar 21, 2008 7:48 am

I'm trying to make a 3D CD case in Inkscape, and now I want to put the content I made for the actual front of the disk onto it. How do I get it into perspective witht the 3D box (it is made with the 3D box tool)

You have to make a 4-node path (that follows the side of the 3D box), select the cover and then the path and go to Effects > Modify Path > Perspective
just hand over the chocolate and nobody gets hurt

Make sure you draw the box in the correct order, starting in the lower left then upper left, upper right, lower right, closed. See heathenx's excellent video tutorial for details.http://screencasters.heathenx.org/wp-content/videos/ep015/ep015.html
