Map of a Delta City

Map of a Delta City

Unlike many of the folks here, I'm not that artistic, and my Inkscape use tends to be more on the "diagrammatic" side. This includes using Inkscape (and GIMP) for creating fantasy maps.

Here is a a city map I am currently working on that shows a city built up on a river delta...

I find it is a really nice tool for mapping :)

Nice map, like the use of blur ot achieve the non regular graident effect.

Nice work. I like how you can see the sandbars and the sand under the water at the river mouths.

...but I thing it should be more blurred. Water makes impossible to see as sharp shapes.

I disagree. When you see such satalite images such features appear quite sharp because of the scale.
