Now all electronic chess publications can have infinitely scalable diagrams! I don't believe copies of existing work can be claimed as original and licensed. The copyrights are retained by the original creator, unless the work has passed into the public domain.

In this case, the copied fonts are freeware (software) that re-creates images that may or may not be in the public domain.
