The competition for the 0.45 splashscreen was held at http://inkscapers.deviantart.com/, so keep an eye out there for the next competition.

Usually the contest start when the development freeze for a release, usually after pre-0 and we are not at that point yet. Developers have not decided so far a date for the next release.

Also, do you have any suggestions for improvement in my above proposal? Like are the glow and reflection nice? Any modifications to the blue waves?
